Guests can participate in an authentic Western lifestyle experience, joining real cowboys as they complete ranch chores. The work changes with the seasons, from branding and weaning cattle to moving cattle up to summer pasture. Regular ranch chores include patrolling the ranch boundaries and checking the water lines that lead from Price Canyon Spring to the ranch-a distance of 7.5 miles.

Intensive training for 5 days!
Learning the cowboys tricks from basic horsemanship and riding techniques to roping, cattle works, including branding and a special evening of camping out under the stars. Cost of the 5 day camp is $450 per day, including all meals and lodging. We suggest making it a seven night stay (our regular daily rate of $225 for single occupancy and $200 double occupancy) applies for the first and last night. This gives our guests time to settle in before camp begins and a night to enjoy the ranch before leaving.
